Lucro vs monday CRM
monday CRM is everywhere at the moment. You’ve probably seen the adverts. And fair play, it’s a slick bit of software – colourful boards, drag and drop, automations, the lot. Loads of businesses love it.
But here’s the thing most people only spot at checkout. monday CRM is sold in seat bundles, starting at three. So even if it’s just you, you’re paying for three people. Lucro is built for businesses of one to five, priced per person, with a free plan you can actually stay on.

This is the big one for small firms. On monday CRM the cheapest plan is £10 a seat, but you have to buy three seats, so it’s £30 a month before you’ve added a single customer. If you’re on your own, two of those seats sit empty.
It carries on as you grow. Seats come in bundles, so a team of four pays for five. On the Standard plan that’s £70 a month. Four people on Lucro Essential is £32.
monday CRM doesn’t have a free plan. You get 14 days to try it, then you pay. (monday.com does have a free plan, but that’s their project tool, not the CRM.)
Lucro’s Free Forever plan is just that. One user, 100 companies and contacts, and the AI assistant for marketing emails and social posts. No card, no countdown. When you need more, Essential starts at £8 per user.
monday’s strength is that you can shape it into almost anything. The flip side is that someone has to do the shaping. Boards, columns, statuses, automations – it’s a bit like being handed a box of Lego.
Lucro is more like a finished model. Add a customer, log a call, set a reminder, send an email from a template. If you just want to stop forgetting follow-ups, that’s usually what you’re after.
And if you’re coming from monday or a spreadsheet, send us the export and we’ll load it in for you.
“The best CRM isn’t the one with the most features — it’s the one you’ll actually use.”
No, monday CRM has a 14-day free trial rather than a free plan. monday.com’s free plan covers its project tool, not the CRM. Lucro has a Free Forever plan for one user with no card needed.
Three, at the time of writing. Plans are sold in seat bundles, so one person still pays for three seats and a team of four pays for five. Lucro is priced per user, starting from one.
For most small teams, yes. A team of three pays £24 a month on Lucro Essential, against £30 on monday Basic or £42 on monday Standard, billed annually. The gap grows when monday’s seat bundles kick in.
Yes. Export your boards from monday as a spreadsheet and send it to us. We’ll import your customers into Lucro free of charge, on any plan.
It can work, but you’ll pay for three seats. If it’s just you, a CRM priced per user, or one with a free plan, usually makes more sense.
Lucro, for most small businesses. There’s nothing to design before you start – you add customers and go. monday CRM is very flexible, but that means building boards and automations first.
